Job summary

SLB seeks a Manufacturing Planner in Texas to implement, monitor, and report production schedules ensuring materials and capacities meet customer needs. You will coordinate work orders, prioritize, manage capacity constraints, and monitor production against the master schedule.

Responsibilities include analyzing planned orders, interfacing with production teams and procurement, communicating status, and driving continuous improvement to reduce waste, lead times, and costs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in scheduling/planning/resource coordination (operations, field services, manufacturing, supply chain, or project environments).
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify conflicts and implement corrective actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to produce schedule summaries and risk logs.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and report production schedules to ensure materials and capacities meet customer needs.
• Manage planning and production data including work orders, prioritization, capacity constraints and monitoring.
• Maintain MRP planning and scheduling parameters for make items.
• Analyze planned order reports and release production work orders.
• Interface with production teams and procurement to prioritize items.
• Identify and resolve production demand and supply imbalances.
• Provide daily guidance on production schedule status to Product Line teams.
• Prepare shortage and backlog reports and flag interruptions to Planning Manager.
• Monitor progress and intervene to stay in compliance with schedules.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, shorten lead times, and cut costs.
