Job summary

Schlumberger is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to implement, monitor, and report production schedules ensuring materials and capacity meet customer demand.

You will manage planning data, maintain capacity parameters, analyze planned orders, and coordinate with production and procurement to prioritize items. The role emphasizes problem solving, detailed communication, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in scheduling/planning or related roles.
• Experience owning complex schedules and managing priorities.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, measure, and report production schedules to meet customer needs.
• Manage planning data: work orders, prioritization, capacity constraints, production monitoring.
• Maintain capacity management and scheduling parameters for make items.
• Analyze planned orders and release production work orders per plan.
• Interface with production and procurement to prioritize items.
• Identify and resolve demand/supply imbalances in volume and mix.
• Provide daily status updates to Product Line on production schedules.
• Prepare shortage/backlog reports and flag interruptions to Planning Manager.
• Monitor progress and intervene to align with schedules.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and shorten lead times.
• Report scheduling, capacity, and production metrics per Master Schedule policy.
• Use Manufacturing System tools to drive continuous improvement.
