Job summary

Polywater Corporation is seeking a proactive Master Scheduler & Planner to own the production plan in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering on-time customer commitments.

The ideal candidate will lead cross-department coordination across Customer Service, Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Warehouse, and Logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of production planning/scheduling experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and advanced scheduling tools is required.
• Experience in high-mix, high-volume environments with multiple work centers is preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize master production schedules for manufacturing and packaging operations by aligning customer demand, forecasts, inventory levels, capacity, and daily production requirements.
• Schedule, sequence, and adjust production orders across multiple work centers while balancing labor, equipment, and material constraints.
• Analyze capacity, labor availability, equipment utilization, and material requirements to develop short- and long-term plans and identify constraints.
• Develop finite schedules to optimize load balancing and support budgeting and capacity planning with data-driven analysis.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Inventory Control to ensure material availability and optimize inventory turns while maintaining service levels.
• Maintain ERP planning data and generate actionable performance and capacity reports; support ERP enhancements and user training.
