Job summary

Siemens seeks a Master Scheduler for its Electrical Products division at the Grand Prairie, Texas site. You will oversee planning for Manual Lines, turning non-standard orders into executable plans and coordinating with Customer Service, Project Management, Engineering, and shop-floor teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years in engineering, manufacturing, production, materials, or operations as Production Scheduler/ Master Scheduler/ Project Engineer/ Project Coordinator/ Buyer/Planner or similar.
• Experience with production scheduling, planning, order coordination, lead-time assessment, or manufacturing execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel and/or Access for data analysis.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, logical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Customer Service, engineering, production, planning, and shop-floor stakeholders.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming Manual Lines demand and translate non-standard orders into executable plans with clear ownership.
• Establish realistic lead times by evaluating delivery dates, capacity, materials, and priorities.
• Maintain production schedules and SAP data with timely updates reflecting shop-floor conditions.
• Coordinate with service, PM, engineering, production leadership, and assembly teams to align priorities and communicate changes.
• Monitor schedule adherence, identify at-risk orders, and drive issues to resolution before commitments are missed.
• Develop processes for demand intake, order prioritization, scheduling, status communication, risk escalation, and performance tracking as the operation matures.
• Analyze delivery reliability, loading status, capacity utilization, and schedule performance using Excel, Access, SAP and other tools to identify improvement opportunities.
