Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Master Scheduler to support a complex, mission-critical Cyber Program onsite in Annapolis. The Master Scheduler will develop, maintain, and analyze integrated master schedules (IMS) driving program execution, milestones, and performance within TS/SCI environments.

This role partners with Program Management, Engineering, Finance, and Mission stakeholders to ensure schedule integrity and compliance with customer and organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • Requires TS/SCI clearance.
  • 8+ years with BS/BA; 6+ years with MS/MA; 12 years in lieu of degree.
  • 6-9+ years of scheduling, program planning, or related disciplines.
  • Mastery of scheduling tools and WBS/CPM.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IMS development, implementation and maintenance for large programs.
  • Align schedules with objectives, WBS, milestones and contractual requirements.
  • Provide senior guidance on dependencies, critical paths, and risks.
  • Analyze schedule data, generate reports and decision-support products.
  • Identify risks and conflicts; develop mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate schedule reviews with cross-functional and customer teams.
  • Manage baselines, version control and change tracking within CM.
  • Ensure integration of cost, technical, and schedule elements for EVM when applicable.
  • Train junior schedulers and contribute to scheduling standards.
  • Prepare executive briefings on status, variances and corrective actions.

Peraton is seeking a Master Scheduler to support complex, mission-critical Cyber Program onsite in Annapolis. The Master Scheduler serves as a senior advisor responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated master schedules (IMS) that drive project execution, milestone tracking, and program performance within TS/SCI environments. This role partners closely with Program Management, Engineering, Finance, and Mission stakeholders to ensure schedule accuracy, integrity, and compliance with customer and organizational standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for large-scale, multi-disciplinary programs.
  • Ensure schedules align with program objectives, contractual requirements, work breakdown structure (WBS), and key milestones.
  • Provide senior-level guidance on scheduling best practices, dependencies, critical paths, resource allocations, and risk impacts.
  • Analyze schedule performance data; generate reports, trend analysis, and decision-support products for program leadership.
  • Identify schedule risks, gaps, and conflicts; develop mitigation strategies and recommendations.
  • Facilitate schedule reviews, audits, and coordination sessions with cross-functional stakeholders and customer representatives.
  • Manage schedule baselines, version control, updates, and change tracking within approved CM frameworks.
  • Ensure integration of cost, technical, and schedule elements to support Earned Value Management (EVM) requirements when applicable.
  • Maintain strict compliance with security protocols and data handling requirements for activities conducted within TS/SCI environments.
  • Train and mentor junior schedulers; support development of program-level scheduling standards and process improvements.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings on scheduling status, risks, variances, and corrective actions.
  • Develops and maintains detailed schedules, production plans, and material requirements lists in accordance with the master production schedule, for products, proposal efforts and/or production processes.
  • Coordinates engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, material control, quality, and other departments to achieve optimum utilization of facilities in meeting production schedules. Provides input regarding problems such as scheduling problems, material shortages, design changes, and backlogs. Releases and maintain all appropriate paperwork.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Requires Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; will consider 12 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 6-9+ years of experience in scheduling, program planning, project controls, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated mastery of scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Critical Path Method (CPM), and integrated baseline management.
  • Experience developing and managing schedules for complex, multiyear programs, ideally within government or intelligence community environments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-security environments with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) tools, techniques, and reporting.
  • Experience with Agile, hybrid, or iterative development methodologies.
  • Prior Peraton experience or familiarity with Peraton program management standards.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
