Job summary

Universal Health Services in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Licensed Social Worker or Counselor with a Master's degree to join our team. The role liaises between treatment teams, physicians, referral sources, and family members to coordinate care and support patients across settings.

You will provide individual, family, and group therapy as needed, complete assessments, contribute to the master treatment plan, and help ensure discharge planning is thorough and accurate.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling required.
• Ohio LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC licensure required.
• Experience as licensed social worker or counselor in mental health setting preferred.
• Experience with pediatric/adolescent populations (ages 3-18) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

We are looking for aLicensed Social Worker or Counselor with a Master's degree to join our team!

In this role theLicensed Social Worker/Counselorprovides services to patients and families acting as a liaison between treatment team, physicians, referral sources, community agencies, outside therapists, and third-party reviewers. Additional the Licensed Social Worker/Counselor provides individual, family, multi-family and group therapy per program needs. Completes assessments, contributes to the master treatment plan, and ensures the discharge planning is complete and contributes to discharge summaries as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:Master's Degree in Social Work or Master's Degree in Counseling.

Licensure:Ohio LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC

Experience:Work experience as licensed social worker or counselor. Previous work experience in a mental healthcare facility is highly preferred. Must have working knowledge of developmental and life stage of and psychiatric problems peculiar to younger childhood (ages 3-7), middle childhood (ages 8-12), and adolescent (ages 13 to 18) populations.

This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Professional demeanor and appearance required.
