Job summary

Belmont Pines in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Licensed Social Worker or Counselor with a Master's degree to join our team. The role provides individual, family, and group therapy, coordinates with the treatment team, physicians, and community partners, and contributes to master treatment plans and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling required.
• Ohio LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC licensure required.
• Experience as licensed social worker or counselor, preferably in a mental health facility.
• Knowledge of developmental and psychiatric issues for children and adolescents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to patients and families as a liaison between treatment team, physicians, referral sources, community agencies, outside therapists, and third-party reviewers.
• Provide individual, family, multi-family and group therapy as program requires.
• Complete assessments, contribute to the master treatment plan, and ensure discharge planning and summaries are completed.

We are looking for aLicensed Social Worker or Counselor with a Master's degree to join our team!

In this role theLicensed Social Worker/Counselorprovides services to patients and families acting as a liaison between treatment team, physicians, referral sources, community agencies, outside therapists, and third-party reviewers. Additional the Licensed Social Worker/Counselor provides individual, family, multi-family and group therapy per program needs. Completes assessments, contributes to the master treatment plan, and ensures the discharge planning is complete and contributes to discharge summaries as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Master’s Degree in Counseling.

Licensure: Ohio LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC

Experience: Work experience as licensed social worker or counselor. Previous work experience in a mental healthcare facility is highly preferred. Must have working knowledge of developmental and life stage of and psychiatric problems peculiar to younger childhood (ages 3-7), middle childhood (ages 8-12), and adolescent (ages 13 to 18) populations.

This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Professional demeanor and appearance required.
