Universal Health Services, Inc. in Youngstown, OH, seeks a Licensed Social Worker or Counselor for a part-time position.

A Master’s degree and Ohio licensure are required; the role is on-site with patients and families, coordinating care with the treatment team. The successful candidate will provide individual, family, and group therapy, perform assessments, contribute to the master treatment plan, and support discharge planning and summaries.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling.
• Ohio licensure such as LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC.
• Experience as licensed social worker or counselor in mental health care.
• Knowledge of developmental and psychiatric needs across ages 3–18.

Responsabilités

We are looking for aLicensed Social Worker or Counselor with a Master's degree to join our team!

In this role theLicensed Social Worker/Counselorprovides services to patients and families acting as a liaison between treatment team, physicians, referral sources, community agencies, outside therapists, and third-party reviewers. Additional the Licensed Social Worker/Counselor provides individual, family, multi-family and group therapy per program needs. Completes assessments, contributes to the master treatment plan, and ensures the discharge planning is complete and contributes to discharge summaries as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Master’s Degree in Counseling.

Licensure: Ohio LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC

Experience: Work experience as licensed social worker or counselor. Previous work experience in a mental healthcare facility is highly preferred. Must have working knowledge of developmental and life stage of and psychiatric problems peculiar to younger childhood (ages 3-7), middle childhood (ages 8-12), and adolescent (ages 13 to 18) populations.

This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Professional demeanor and appearance required.
