Job summary

Families First of Florida is hiring for outpatient master’s level mental health professionals/therapists to provide in-person and in-home therapy services within Hillsborough County. This contracted, full-time position offers a $60K annual cap based on a full-time caseload and a $40 billable hour rate, with flexibility to grow a client base and to complete documentation from home.

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with children and adults with behavioral health issues preferred.

• Carry professional liability coverage ($1M/$3M).
• Bilingual helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family outpatient therapy to children and adults.
• Conduct in-home therapy sessions within Hillsborough County.
• Complete documentation and billing from home when possible.
• Collaborate with supervisors and clinical team to ensure evidence-based practice.

Families First is hiring for outpatient master’s level mental health professional/ therapists to provide IN-PERSON/IN-HOME therapy services (within Hillsborough County). You have the potential to make up to $60K per year with a full-time case load at $40.00 per billable hour (services must be provided in home/in person). Families First of Florida’s (FFF) mission is to strengthen children, families, and adults by providing quality mental health services. We are currently looking for qualified mental health professionals to help us change the lives of children, families, and adults by helping them grow and develop through providing individual and family outpatient therapy. Our providers deliver high-quality therapeutic services utilizing a variety of techniques to address issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and grief.

FFF is a supportive, clinically driven environment that offers guidance and resources for our contractors to be the best therapists they can be.

Qualifications:

Contractors must pass Level 2 FDLE background screen (to learn more, please visit My Fl Families , local background screening within the county of residence, carry professional liability coverage ($1M/$3M), and have the ability to learn and utilize our Electronic Health Record.

You must hold a master’s degree in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education and or a human services field (as this is a Medicaid requirement). In addition, a minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in providing services to children and adults with behavioral illnesses or be under the supervision of a licensed practitioner of the healing arts is preferred. Specialties include trauma informed care, substance abuse, adoptions competency, child welfare and individual adolescent psychotherapy. Bilingual helpful but not a requirement.
