Job summary

Families First of Florida in Lakeland is seeking a master’s level clinician, therapist, or social worker to lead substance abuse groups in our in-person SA outpatient program.

The role can be lucrative: earn up to $225/hour for group sessions, with potential to supplement hours with individual therapy at $30 per billable hour. Qualifications include a master’s degree and at least two years' experience with behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or human services.
• Minimum of two years’ professional experience with children and adults with behavioral illness or under supervision.
• Experience running substance abuse groups; in-person groups in Lakeland.

Responsibilities

Job description

Are you looking to work with a great team that works great together and help patients with their recovery process? Families First of Florida is looking for a master’s level clinician / therapist / social worker with experience in running groups (required), preferably substance abuse (note all groups are currently in person in our Lakeland office).

We are excited about our growing CARF accredited substance abuse (SA) outpatient program and need to find the right treatment provider to run our SA group(s). This can be very lucrative for the right person with the ability to earn up to $225/hour depending on the size of the group. You can also supplement that with individual therapy earning $30.00 per billable hour.

To qualify, you must hold a master’s degree in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, and or a human services field (as this is a Medicaid requirement). In addition, a minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in providing services to children and adults with behavioral illness or be under the supervision of a licensed practitioner of the healing arts is preferred. Specialties include trauma informed care, substance abuse, adoptions competency, child-welfare and individual adolescent psychotherapy. Bilingual helpful, but not a requirement.

Qualifications:

Contractors must pass Level 2 FDLE background screen (to learn more please visit My Fl Families local background screen within the county of residence, carry professional liability coverage ($1M/$3M), and have the ability to learn and utilize our Electronic Health Record.
