Are you the Clinician we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by working with our youth! JRI’s Community Based Services division provides care to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in the home, school, and community. Our staff provide services in the communities where the people we serve live, utilizing strength-based and needs-driven choices, offering a team-based approach grounded in culturally competent, individualized services, and the use of evidence-based practices.
JRI Provides The Training So That:
- You will be able to provide a variety of community-based services including home and community-based family therapy, in-office therapy services, therapeutic training and support services, case management, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and assessments.
- You will serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team that works together to find the best and most effective methods of guiding and supporting clients within the community.
- You will design and deliver interventions to enhance and improve the family’s capacity to improve the youth’s functioning in the home and community, potentially preventing the need for inpatient hospitalization or other treatment settings.
- You will develop a structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic relationship with the youth and family to address behavioral health needs and promote healthy family functioning.
- You will provide culturally competent, trauma-informed, confidential clinical services that prioritize the needs of the young person.
- You will provide consultation to collaterals including schools and medical service providers.

Requirements:
- Must be fluent in Spanish and able to provide clinical services in Spanish.
- Minimum Master’s degree or higher in the mental health field; must be licensed or license-eligible (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT).
- Ability to create and implement culturally sensitive treatment/service plans.
- Proven ability to form therapeutic relationships with diverse populations, including various racial, ethnic, linguistic, religious, and sexual orientation backgrounds.
- Reliable, insured vehicle and active Driver’s License.
- Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule and participate in on-call duties.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn electronic medical record software and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Clinical experience with children/adolescents; familiarity with trauma-informed care preferred. Experience with community mental health or family therapy is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
