Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Master Production Scheduler to plan, organize and control the monthly master schedule, driving forecasts for materials and coordinating with Demand Managers and Production Control Analysts. This on-site role is based at the Richland Center, WI manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of supply chain planning or scheduling experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Understand and advise on managing short-term and long-term capacities to minimize late orders and overtime.
• Build rough cut capacity planning at work centers and across departments.
• Prepare manufacturing plan of orders for the month/quarter based on plant capacity and material availability.
• Monitor inputs used for capacity planning (efficiency, utilization, absenteeism).
• Coordinate with S&OP team to align load with plan and monitor backlog conversion.
• Complete date management of pull-in and push-out according to requirements.
• Balance and coordinate manufacturing orders with Buyers/Planners based on material availability.
• Communicate with Customer Care and PMO about order priority and execution.
• Work with plant Finance to understand financial impact of master scheduling.
• Perform health checks to maintain SAP accuracy and guide system accountability.
• Track and report KPIs, propose plant-specific improvements.
