Job summary

You will release customer orders, open work orders in the MRP system, prepare load forecasts, and monitor variances to keep production aligned with ship dates.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, proficiency with Word and Excel, and experience with Syteline or a similar MRP system.

• Ability to prepare production analysis data, load forecasts and labor usage forecasts.
• Experience with planning and coordinating production across departments.

Responsibilities

• Uses the MRP system to release customer orders and open work orders to schedule as related to the product line.
• Prepares production analysis data, job and machine load forecasts, and labor usage forecasts.
• Follows up on actual vs scheduled production performance and on-time delivery.
• Takes actions to eliminate delays and ensures adherence to schedules.
• Interacts with purchasing to ensure flow of materials.
• Works with product team to achieve inventory turnover targets.
• Provides training and support to the product team for scheduling goals.
