Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Production Scheduler in the United States, WA area (Tacoma) to lead the master production schedule across multiple manufacturing processes. You will convert orders and forecasts into actionable plans while coordinating with purchasing to ensure materials availability and driving on-time delivery in a growing metal casting environment.

You will work closely with operations leadership, sales, and procurement in a fast-paced expansion phase, with strong emphasis on data accuracy,

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Production Scheduling, Production Planning, or Manufacturing Planning experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with multiple processes and competing priorities.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to interpret work orders, BOMs, routings, and production workflows.
• Excellent organizational and cross-functional communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with capacity to identify bottlenecks and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the master production schedule across multiple manufacturing processes.
• Convert orders and forecasts into actionable daily and weekly production plans.
• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules in real time to address delays.
• Identify bottlenecks and communicate solutions to leadership.
• Maintain ERP data accuracy including work orders and inventory status.
• Prepare and analyze scheduling metrics like on-time delivery and adherence.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to set realistic lead times and priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy and workflow efficiency.
