Job summary

Bayer in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Master Production Scheduler to optimize the master production schedule, align resources, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will analyze capacity, collaborate with Supply Chain and QA, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using SAP and MS Office to support planning and reporting. The role requires strong communication, team collaboration, and hands-on experience on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to communicate with other entities in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Experience with spreadsheets and data analysis.
• Team oriented with cross-functional communication.
• Sustained engagement on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize the Master Production Schedule to maximize resource efficiency.
• Provide analysis to evaluate volume changes and propose solutions with stakeholders.
• Create priorities in the MPS to support on-time delivery and financial goals.
• Support plant operations through scheduling execution and data analysis.
• Develop KPIs for schedule attainment, on-time delivery and capacity utilization.
• Coordinate with Business Strategy Analysts on capacity, parameters and logic.
• Assist purchasing with MPS/MRP alignment and schedule execution.
• Collaborate with Demand/Supply and Forecast teams as needed.
• Promote compliance with Bayer QA/QC, HSE and procedures.
• Apply continuous improvement practices (5S, Lean, Six Sigma) across the plant.
• Utilize OnePSS techniques to drive process improvements.
