Job summary

Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Master Production Scheduler for our manufacturing client in Endicott. This on-site, direct-hire role focuses on developing and maintaining an executable master production schedule to balance customer demand, inventory, and capacity.

Responsibilities include aligning schedules with capacity and material constraints, collaborating across functions, and leading S&OP efforts. 5–7+ years of planning experience and strong ERP/Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, or related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain.
• Strong understanding of MRP/MPS systems and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Align production with capacity, labor, and material constraints.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Engineering.
• Monitor and adjust schedules in response to changes.
• Lead S&OP processes or support integrated planning.
• Identify improvements to scheduling processes, systems, and tools.
• Maintain planning data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Communicate schedule changes and priorities to production teams.
• Drive risk mitigation for material shortages or bottlenecks.
