Job summary

Emerson in the United States is seeking a Master Production Schedule (MPS) Planner for a consulting/contract role in Aiken, South Carolina. The position will run at least 6 months and is expected to extend.

You will develop, maintain, and execute the MPS to meet customer demand while optimizing capacity, inventory, and material availability; coordinate with Operations, Materials, Purchasing, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Quality; participate in SIOP/IBP processes and communicate schedule

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer demand while optimizing production capacity, inventory, WIP, and material availability.
• Balance material availability with production priorities to avoid consuming material required for higher-priority or current customer commitments.
• Partner with Operations, Materials, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Sales/Customer Service, and Finance to align demand, supply, capacity, and production priorities.
