Job summary

The Cambridge Housing Authority is seeking a qualified Plumber Supervisor to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems across CHA facilities. This role reports to the Director of Maintenance and System Development and requires a Massachusetts Master Plumber’s License and a valid driver’s license.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years in plumbing with supervisory experience, strong math and safety skills, and familiarity with the MA Building Code. Proficiency in MS Office is desirable.

• Extensive knowledge of plumbing installation, repair and maintenance.
• MS Office familiarity is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review building plans and specs to determine plumbing layouts.
• Select tools, pipes and fittings for tasks.
• Draw diagrammatic plumbing plans for installations and training.
• Install, support, and hang pipes, fixtures and equipment.
• Test systems for leaks and ensure proper sizing and codes.
