Spaulding Hospital-Cambridge, part of Mass General Brigham, seeks a journeyman plumber to install, repair, and maintain piping systems for water, sewage, gas, steam, and air on site at 1575 Cambridge Street.

You will read blueprints, order parts, perform preventive maintenance, document repairs, and work with various trades. High school diploma or equivalent and MA state license required; 2–3 years plumbing experience preferred; flexible schedule.

Formación

• Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Journeyman Plumber State License required
• 2-3 years plumbing service experience
• Knowledge of Massachusetts plumbing codes
• Read blueprints and piping diagrams
• Effective verbal, electronic, and written communication in English
• Computer proficiency; MS Office preferred
• Maintain variable work schedule

Responsabilidades

• Piping systems for water, sewage, gas, steam, and air are installed, repaired, and maintained per department standards.
• Replacement parts, materials, and tools are ordered and maintained to meet the needs of work orders.
• Emergency and routine repairs are responded to within department time frames.
• Stock and material lists are prepared to complete work order requests and other routine work.
• Daily rounds are completed to ensure mechanical equipment is functioning and malfunctions are reported to appropriate parties.
• Documentation reflects repairs, replacement parts, and adjustments as per department and regulatory guidelines.
• Assistance is provided to the various trades in the installation, maintenance, or basic repair of equipment, piping, electric, HVAC systems, and various other duties per department standards.
• Preventive maintenance program is performed and maintained per established time frames.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
