Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• License: Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber required or equivalent.
• Experience: 2–3 years plumbing service experience.
• Skills: reading blueprints and piping diagrams; knowledge of MA plumbing codes; basic building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Piping systems for water, sewage, gas, steam, and air installed, repaired, and maintained per standards.
• Order and maintain replacement parts, materials, and tools to meet work orders.
• Respond to emergency and routine repairs within department time frames.
• Prepare stock and material lists to complete work orders.
• Conduct daily rounds to verify equipment operation and report malfunctions.
• Document repairs, parts, and adjustments per guidelines.
• Assist trades in installation, maintenance, or basic repair of equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance per established time frames.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
