Job summary

Relapath is seeking a Master Plumber for a direct-hire role servicing clients in the Metro Detroit area. This full-time position requires a Michigan Master Plumber license and a Backflow Assembly Tester certification.

Qualifications

• Michigan Master Plumber license is required.
• Backflow Assembly Tester certification (ASSE 5110 or equivalent).
• Experience testing, repairing, and replacing commercial backflow assemblies.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual testing of backflow prevention assemblies.
• Diagnose failed backflow preventers and determine repairs or replacement.
• Repair and rebuild backflow prevention assemblies.
• Replace backflow preventers when repairs are not practical.
• Complete electronic test reports and submit docs to municipalities.
• Coordinate testing and repairs with customers, providing excellent service.
• Maintain testing equipment, inventory, and company vehicle.
• Ensure work complies with plumbing codes and local regulations.
• Experience using tablets or mobile devices for digital reporting is preferred.
