Job summary

Relapath is seeking a Master Plumber for a direct-hire role servicing clients in the Metro Detroit area. This full-time position requires a Michigan Master Plumber license and a Backflow Assembly Tester certification.

You will test, diagnose, repair, and replace backflow preventers and complete electronic reports for municipalities. Responsibilities include coordinating testing with customers, maintaining equipment and the company vehicle, and ensuring all work complies with codes and local

• Michigan Master Plumber license is required.
• Backflow Assembly Tester certification (ASSE 5110 or equivalent).
• Experience testing, repairing, and replacing commercial backflow assemblies.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; ability to work independently.

• Complete electronic test reports and submit required documentation to municipalities and water authorities.
• Coordinate testing and repairs with customers while providing exceptional service.
• Maintain testing equipment, inventory, and company vehicle.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience using tablets or mobile devices for digital reporting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan Master Plumber License.
• Current Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester Certification (ASSE 5110 or equivalent as required by local jurisdictions).
• Experience testing, repairing, and replacing commercial backflow prevention assemblies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
