JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for creating, maintaining, and delivering a production schedule based on customer / project needs and shop capacity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and schedule work based on available capacity and priorities
• Expedite materials from purchasing to accommodate urgent orders
• Update sales team (ISR) with possible delays or early deliveries
• Share best practices with planning team, manufacturing engineering, and production
• Active participant in daily / weekly planning meetings

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Ten years’ experience planning with exposure to materials and some product knowledge. Expert knowledge working within ERP system / APS software. Strong understanding of MRP process.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years in a leadership / supervisory role
• ERP / APICS / CPIM Certifications

WORK ENVIRONMENT & POTENTIAL HAZARDS:

• Office environment with daily exposure to the manufacturing floor.
• Some exposure to possible shop hazards including high noise and heavy machinery.
