Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires 2 years of verifiable painting experience.
• Requires valid driver's license and ability to be insured by Indiana University.
• Requires certification to erect and disassemble scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Paint interior and exterior surfaces and apply finishes as directed.
• Prepare coatings by tinting, blending, and adding additives.
• Prepare surfaces and patch defects before finishing.
• Strip, sand, seal, and finish doors, woodwork, and floors.
• Erect scaffolding safely and perform general building maintenance.
• May supervise hourly workers.
