Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Master Mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicles across a wide range of makes and models. You’ll perform warranty work and complex repairs with minimal supervision, helping keep our fleet safe and ready for customers.

Bring 3+ years of auto repair experience, ASE certs (3+), and a full toolset. On-site role with competitive wages, benefits, and growth opportunities within a large mobility company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum 3 years of professional auto repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (minimum 3) with ability to gain 2 more in the first year.
• Strong knowledge across Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, and Engine Performance.
• Must have a complete set of tools for automotive repair and maintenance.
• Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel as needed.
• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• On-site presence; OEM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex automotive repairs, including warranty work.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhausts, brakes, electrical, A/C, and onboard computer systems.
• Work on a diverse fleet across multiple brands; serve as a technical resource for colleagues.
