Job summary

LB&B Associates Inc. seeks experienced Master Mariners to lead and deliver US Navy Navigational Seamanship Ship-Handling Training (NSST) at San Diego, CA, and other naval stations.

The role combines classroom instruction with simulator training and curriculum development under the Surface Warfare Officer School. Candidates must have naval command experience, USCG master license or equivalent, and documented ability to teach adult learners with competency assessment capabilities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expert level knowledge of NSS subject areas and NAVDORM standards.
• Experience teaching adult learners and conducting competency assessments.

Responsibilities

• Teach navigation, seamanship, and ship-handling to US Navy personnel.
• Participate in curriculum development and update training materials.
• Balance classroom instruction with simulator-based training at multiple bases.
