gpac LLC. is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker for precision machining in an established manufacturing environment. You will work with dies, tooling, fixtures, and machine components to produce, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain precision parts.

The role requires hands-on expertise with lathes and milling machines, ability to read blueprints, and strong measurement and troubleshooting skills to ensure tight tolerances and high quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Tool & Die Maker experience.
• Experience operating manual lathes and milling machines.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specs.
• Knowledge of geometric and trigonometric calculations for precision machining.
• Experience using precision inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Familiarity with die maintenance, tooling fabrication, component fitting, and repair techniques.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and other shop equipment.
• Fabricate, modify, and repair dies, tooling, jigs, fixtures, and machine parts.
• Troubleshoot tooling problems and dimensional defects; determine corrective actions.
• Interpret drawings and blueprints to develop accurate components.
• Assemble, fit, grind, finish, and polish parts to meet tolerances.
• Verify dimensions with precision measuring instruments.
