You will operate manual mills and lathes, interpret tolerances, and ensure parts meet OEM specs. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a manual machinist with mills and lathes.
• Strong understanding of mechanical tolerances, blueprints, and precision measurement.
• Commitment to quality craftsmanship with minimal tolerance for error.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and reproduce precision parts using manual mill and lathe equipment based on customer specifications, technical drawings, and samples
• Perform essential machinist operations on a regular basis, including: thread cutting and boring
• Turning and facing operations; precision work with 3- and 4-jaw chucks on round/irregular shapes
• Interpret tolerances and perform metric-to-standard conversions with accuracy
• Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment to meet quality standards
• Maintain workflow to meet delivery timelines and keep a tidy, safe workstation
