Cavender Cadillac Of Lubbock is seeking a talented Mainline Service Technician to join our growing team and uphold our commitment to making confidence happen every day. You will diagnose, repair, and test a range of vehicle systems, while delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining dealership standards.

Ideal candidates have prior service technician experience, a strong automotive background, and ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a service technician required.
• Strong automotive background.
• Manufacture ASE certifications preferred.
• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Any other duties as assigned by Management

• If you are a recent graduate of an accredited technical school (graduated within the last 24 month) $625 per month tuition reimbursement for 2 year ($15,000 in total)
