Job summary

American Equipment Holdings is seeking Experienced Crane Service Technicians to join our team. The role covers Level 3 through Master level technicians responsible for inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on overhead cranes and hoists in customer facilities.

The position requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, knowledge of VFDs, and the ability to diagnose and repair complex brake and control systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
• Experience in crane service or industrial maintenance.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on overhead cranes and hoists.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, including AC control circuits.
• Rigs and installs new cranes and hoists; provide field service and inspections.
• Mentor junior technicians and interface professionally with customers.
• Maintain detailed service documentation and communicate with customers.
