Job summary

The Division of Adult Institutions within the Wisconsin Department of Corrections is seeking a Plumber for the Oakhill Correctional Institution in Oregon, WI. You will perform skilled plumbing duties, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and related mechanical systems in accordance with codes and work orders.

Requires a valid Wisconsin Master Plumber or Journeyman Plumber license, with the ability to obtain a Master license within the 12-month probation period.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Wisconsin Master Plumber or Journeyman Plumber license.
• Ability to obtain a Master Plumber license prior to end of a 12-month probation period.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled plumbing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and related mechanical operations, including heating, ventilating, and distribution systems.
• Operate in accordance with plumbing codes, project plans, specifications, and work orders.
