Wisconsin Department of Corrections is seeking a skilled Plumber to install, inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing and related mechanical systems in state facilities, following codes and project plans.

Candidates must hold a Master or Journeyman Plumber license or be able to obtain a Master license before the end of a 12-month probationary period; the role includes a strong benefits package and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must possess, maintain, and carry a valid license issued by the State of Wisconsin to perform plumbing installation, maintenance, service and repair.
• Ability to obtain Master Plumber license prior to end of twelve month probation period.
• Continued education to maintain credentials.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain all plumbing and related mechanical operations in accordance with plumbing codes and plans.
• Provide service across heating and ventilation and distribution systems as required.
• Adhere to project specifications and work orders.
