Job summary

The Repair Specialist at Blue Nile will execute the repair and restoration of jewelry items with a keen eye for detail. You will apply a range of repair techniques to precious metals and gemstones, ensuring quality and adherence to R2Net standards.

Strong problem-solving skills and a background in jewelry repair are essential. You will also educate customers about the repair process and aftercare while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in jewelry repair and production preferred.
• Graduate Gemologist degree preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of jewelry repair techniques, tools and materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing of repairs ensuring quality meets standards and timely completion.
• Document condition photos as needed and investigate issues with repair orders.
• Communicate with customer service on late orders and rush requests.
• Process returns and evaluate merchandise for quality and policy adherence.
• Report recurring product quality issues to management and propose corrective action.
• Support QC operations and maintain accurate records of QC activities.
• Handle opening and closing activities for QC areas.
