Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking a Lead Instructor, Cyber & OSINT to design and deliver TRM Academy training for cyber investigations, OSINT, and CTI across public-sector and private-sector audiences. You will build curricula, labs, and hands-on exercises, and collaborate with intelligence experts to translate complex tradecraft into teachable content.

The role requires 3–5+ years of instructional experience, strong communication, and travel 50–75% across the United States.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience instructing courses, leading trainings, or delivering technical instruction.
• Hands-on experience in cyber investigations, OSINT, and/or cyber threat intelligence (CTI).
• Experience working in or with the public sector/government.
• Proven experience building course content—curriculum, labs, exercises, and testing.
• Comfortable training private-sector audiences (security teams, crypto businesses, financial institutions).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• AI fluency is expected and evaluated in interviews.

Responsibilities

• Program manage and conduct live and virtual training on cyber, OSINT, and CTI tradecraft for public-sector and government learners.
• Design and build curriculum, learning modules, labs, and practical exercises across formats.
• Teach across TRM's AI and blockchain platforms, aligning cyber/OSINT with on-chain tracing.
• Develop teach‑the‑trainer materials and reusable content to scale offerings.
• Identify and manage relationships with government and industry partners to grow TRM Academy.
• Keep materials current with evolving threats (ransomware, nation-state activity, phishing, ATOs, hacks).
• Maintain proficiency in cyber investigations, OSINT, threat tracking, and intelligence reporting.
