Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Master HVAC Technician to support our program at Fort Meade. The role requires technical inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair of complex HVAC systems in highly secure environments.

The position demands US citizenship and TS clearance with SCI access, with travel up to 10% and local deployment as needed. You will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain large commercial and industrial HVAC and environmental systems, work with engineering teams to

Qualifications

Master HVAC licensure or equivalent with extensive experience; or 12 years military HVAC training/certification.
EPA 608 Type II (or Universal) or NATE certification.
Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50 lbs.
4 years' experience with HVAC control and monitoring systems.
Experience with CMMS.
Expert design, installation and sustainment of computer-controlled environmental systems in mobile SCIFs.
US citizenship with TS clearance for SCI access.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections on HVAC systems and components to evaluate condition and recommend repairs or preventive maintenance.
Respond to service calls and document maintenance in CMMS.
Diagnose HVAC issues and perform corrective actions or replacements as needed.
Install, repair and maintain large commercial/industrial HVAC, ventilation and cooling systems.
Perform preventive maintenance on exhaust fans, boilers, air handlers, pumps, motors and related equipment.
Review plans and specifications to determine equipment size and placement.
Provide technical guidance for security-sensitive environments and SCIF operations.
Produce detailed technical reports outlining findings and recommendations.
