Job summary

CACI International is seeking a Master HVAC Technician to join our Fort Sam Houston, TX team. You will inspect, maintain, and repair large HVAC systems, including ventilation, refrigeration, and control equipment, often in secure facilities.

Strong fault-isolation and CMMS reporting skills are essential. Requirements include a Master HVAC license or equivalent, TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, and readiness to deploy to US Army environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Associate degree plus 3 years of experience, or equivalent with Master HVAC license, or 12 years of military HVAC training/certification.
• Specific experience in fault isolation and resolution of tactical environmental systems.
• Plan, install, troubleshoot and repair equipment not fully covered by manuals; 4+ years with HVAC control/monitoring systems.
• US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required.
• Experience with CMMS and design/integration of computer-controlled environmental systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain large commercial/industrial HVAC systems and components.
• Respond to service calls, document issues in CMMS, and report malfunctions.
• Diagnose causes of faults in HVAC systems and determine repair/replacement needs.
• Install, repair, and maintain ventilation, refrigeration, AC, and related equipment.
• Perform diagnostics and maintenance of environmental control and safety systems in secure facilities.
• Deploy to US Army environments and potentially worldwide for mission support.
