Job summary

JK Commerce Inc. is seeking a Master Heavy Duty Diesel Technician for on-site work in Redwood City. The role involves complex diagnostics and high-quality repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, transmissions, and driveline components.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of diesel repair experience, ASE and/or Chrysler/Stellantis certifications are a plus, and proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools and repair documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional automotive/diesel repair experience.
• ASE and/or Chrysler/Stellantis certifications are a plus.
• Strong diagnostic ability across engines, emissions/DEF, transmissions, driveline, electrical, and heavy suspension.
• Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools and maintain repair records.
• Ability to dismantle, remove, repair, and reassemble engine assemblies, transmissions, and components.
• Heavy-duty engine repair including disassembly, inspection, and rebuilds.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel vehicles.
• Disassemble and rebuild engines, transmissions, and related components.
• Document repairs accurately and maintain repair records.

Master Heavy Duty Diesel Technician

What you’ll bring:

• Experience: 3+ years of professional automotive and diesel repair experience. CDJR/Ram experience is preferred, but Ford or GM techs are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Certifications: ASE certifications and/or Chrysler/Stellantis factory certifications are a huge plus.

• Skills: Strong diagnostic ability across engine, emissions/DEF, transmission, driveline, electrical systems, and heavy suspension.

• Technology & documentation: Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools and maintain accurate repair records.

• Component handling: Ability to dismantle, remove, repair, and reassemble engine assemblies, transmissions, and other mechanical components.

• Heavy-duty engine repair: Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble heavy-duty diesel engines, including cylinder head work, piston and ring replacement, crankshaft and bearing repairs, and full engine rebuilds.
