Job summary

Weisiger Group’s LiftOne division is seeking a skilled Shop Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment at a branch. You will work independently and support customers to keep operations productive.

Ideal candidates have backgrounds in automotive, diesel, or military with hands-on technical problem-solving abilities. Training will be provided to master hydraulics, electrical systems, engines, and diagnostics in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the material handling industry or related automotive/diesel/military/heavy equipment mechanics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair forklifts and material handling equipment (gas, diesel, LP, and electric).
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Accurately document work performed and communicate with customers using the work order system.
• Maintain tools and parts inventory.
• Represent LiftOne with professionalism and pride in customer interactions.
