Job summary

Arcosa Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a weld/fabrication associate to join our heavy manufacturing team. You will select equipment, plan layouts, and perform welding using Arc or Gas processes, bolting as needed.

You will repair, dismantle, straighten, reshape and reassemble components with various fabrication tools. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of welding experience. You will read engineering drawings, operate measuring devices, pass a pre-employment welding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years welding experience.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Selects fabrication equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding procedures.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts using Arc, Gas-Shielded Arc, or Gas Welding equipment.
• May assemble parts by bolting.
• Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts.
• Clean pole and welds as required.
• Accountable for tools and equipment provided and their maintenance.
• Adheres to state and federal laws, ISO Quality Program, company policies and safety/environmental regulations.
