Job summary

Arcosa Inc. in Muskogee, OK is seeking a skilled Welder to join our fabrication team. You will select equipment, layout, and weld parts using various processes, while ensuring quality and safety on every setup.

You will read blueprints and engineering drawings and use welding gauges; you may bolt assemblies and repair components. This role requires attention to detail and flexibility with the work schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass welding pre-employment test.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Read welding measuring devices (squares, levels, tapes).
• Pass drug screening and background check.
• Adaptable to a changing work environment and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Select fabrication equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding procedures.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using Arc, Gas-Shielded Arc, or Gas Welding equipment.
• May assemble parts by bolting.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts.
• Clean pole and welds as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment; adhere to ISO Quality Program and safety regs.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• This position supports our Muskogee operations from our physical location in Muskogee, OK. The schedule for this position is 4am-2:30pm| Monday-Thursday with some mandatory Fridays*

What You'll Do

• Selects fabrication equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding procedures.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts using Arc, Gas-Shielded Arc, or Gas Welding equipment.
• May assemble parts by bolting.
• Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts. In some cases, fabrication equipment may be uses to perform the function above such as plate rolling machines, plate cutting machines, cutting torch or other welding fabrication equipment.
• Clean pole and welds as required
• Accountable and responsible for essential tools and equipment provided along w/ the maintaining of these tools and equipment.
• Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company ISO Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental Regulations.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
