About This Role

As a Master Field Engineer, you will be essential in the field commissioning of building automation systems tailored for each customer. This role requires teamwork, excellent time management, organization, communication, technical, and troubleshooting skills. You will serve as a technical expert, solve complex problems, lead training for less experienced engineers, and act as a field contact.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems utilizing advanced Direct Digital Control technology.
• Mentor and develop less experienced Field Engineers.
• Serve as a local contact for technical issues.
• Provide solutions for complex system issues.
• Deliver turnkey projects on medium to large scales.
• Ensure proper operation of controls, sensors, and software.
• Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports.
• Manage time effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate and document project status and details.
• Provide site-specific training to owners/operators.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or related technical fields.
• Ability to climb ladders or lift equipment over 8 feet and up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable by the company.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or certification in HVAC, Controls, or related fields.
• Proficiency with building automation software like WebCTRL.
• Ability to navigate various building automation systems.
• Expertise in TCP/IP networks and wireless tech.
• Experience handling multiple technical challenges.
• Ability to communicate technical info to non-technical audiences.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
