The Opportunity
  • This is a remote position with approximately 75% travel within the territory.
  • Applicants must reside in the Birmingham, Alabama area; relocation assistance is not provided.

Your role includes providing technical support, installation, maintenance, and proactive customer service, in compliance with guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Represent Abbott Diagnostic Division to customers, providing on-site support.
  • Support sales and marketing objectives.
  • Mentor other Field Service Representatives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues on complex instruments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to quality and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure safety and schedule routine maintenance and updates.
Team Integration and Additional Responsibilities
  • Work effectively within diverse teams.
  • Manage time, territory, and inventory efficiently.
  • Participate in call rotation, standby, and after-hours duties.
  • Travel to support other territories and training as needed.
  • Maintain ownership of customer issues until resolution.
  • Proactively manage accounts and utilize remote support tools.
  • Engage in continuous learning and certifications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Travel requirement: 20-30%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Bio Medical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Medical Technology.
  • Practical customer interfacing experience.
