Daikin Applied, the world’s largest HVAC company, is hiring for 2nd shift in Faribault, MN. Starting wage is $45.22 per hour plus a $2.30 shift differential.

The position offers a climate-controlled facility, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities. Responsibilities include maintaining production equipment, diagnosing electrical/hydraulic/mechanical/electronic issues, and mentoring other maintenance personnel.

Qualifikationen

• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials and stand for long shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use hand tools for extended periods.

Aufgaben

• Maintain production equipment in optimum condition and as safe, efficient, and reliable as priorities and time allow.
• Be self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Understand shop operation and be able to make proper priority decisions.
• Diagnose, locate, and repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic problems.
• Communicate clearly with service support, factory supervision, and management.
• Train other maintenance personnel.
• Document repairs to enable better troubleshooting skills.
• Act as a leader and assist Maintenance Supervisor in duties.
• Support major equipment failures during any shift, on short notice.
• Attend selected training courses as deemed necessary each year.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain production equipment inoptimumcondition and as safe,efficientand reliable as priorities and time allows.

• Must be self-driven and able to work with a minimum of supervision.

• Must understand shop operation and be able to make proper priority decisions.

• Capable of diagnosing,locatingand repairing electrical, hydraulic,mechanicaland electronic problems.

• Must be capable of good,accuratecommunications with service support, factorysupervisionand management.

• Must be able to train other maintenance personnel.

• Must document repairs to enable better trouble-shooting skills.

• Must be a leader andassistMaintenance Supervisor in their duties.

• Must support andassistin major equipment failure during any shift, upon short notice.

• Must provide anddemonstrateservice attitude in all interactions within the plant.

Your Qualifications:

• The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
• The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.

• The ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

• High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
