Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. seeks an Electrician to support projects in Southeast Virginia, including the Hampton area.

The role focuses on preventive maintenance, installation and repair of electrical, mechanical and digital tunnel and bridge systems equipment. Minimum two years of field electrical experience, with a valid Master or Journeyman license in Virginia, and the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years field electrical experience performing preventive maintenance on commercial/industrial components.
• Active Master or Journeyman Electrician License from DPOR in VA.
• Ability to obtain Commercial Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, installation and repair of electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Diagnose causes of faults and implement repairs in electrical equipment.
• Operate and use tools safely; estimate time and materials for tasks.
• Inspect and maintain electrical load centers and distribution systems.
• Coordinate with supervisors and project managers and communicate status.
