Job summary

US Facilities, Inc. seeks an Electrician to work on a Southeast Virginia project. The role includes preventive maintenance, installation and repair of electrical, mechanical, and digital tunnel and bridge systems equipment along interstate corridors.

Required are at least 2 years of field electrical experience, the ability to read blueprints, and the capacity to work outdoors in varying weather. A VA DPOR Journeyman or Masters Electrician license and a valid CDL are needed, with a 90-day

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Journeyman or Masters Electrician License from DPOR in VA is required.
• Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and digital tunnel/bridge systems.
• Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical components up to 480 VAC 3-phase.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Estimate time and materials for electrical work and maintain safety compliance.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely, including bucket trucks.
• Work in a 24/7/365 environment with potential for overtime and variable conditions.
