Job summary

Nazareth Hospital, part of Trinity Health, seeks an Electrician to join our Maintenance team for full‑time day shifts. Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance, new installations, and overseeing teams to ensure safety and code compliance.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master Electrician license, HS diploma, and 5 years of master‑electrician experience with high/low voltage systems, UPS, and electronics. Knowledge of NEC codes and blueprint reading is essential.

Qualifications

• Master Electrician license required
• HS diploma or equivalent required
• 5 years of experience as a Master electrician with electronics, motor control and operation, control wiring, electronic circuitry, high and low voltage equipment, emergency power generation, UPS system, basic computer skills, and mathematics
• Good knowledge of electrical codes and standards and equipment specifications
• Able to read, understand, and interpret blueprints

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective maintenance, and new installations of electrical systems.
• Review construction and small projects documents to ensure proper interface with existing systems.
• Instruct and oversee electricians to ensure safety and proper techniques on work orders; troubleshoot high and low voltage equipment.
• Follow NEC codes and guidelines.
• Test emergency generation equipment on/off-site facilities during off hours.
• Assist in managing UPS system operability and interface with regulators for compliance.
• Monitor vendor/contractor activities on campus and support annual trainings
