Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (Master Electrician) to lead electrical maintenance operations at Clements University Hospital in Dallas. The role requires expertise in generator systems, UPS, ATS logic, switchgear, and VFDs, with hands-on duties and supervisory responsibilities.

The successful candidate will oversee a crew of journeymen and helpers, review renovation plans, approve complex electrical procedures, and coordinate maintenance projects

Qualifications

Education: Associate's Degree or vocational training.
5 years of related experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of and experience working with multiple trades.
Valid Texas Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and supervise journeyman and helpers.
Inspect systems to determine maintenance needs.
Maintain time and attendance records.
Prepare cost estimates for jobs.
Develop policies for the assigned area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
