Job summary
Primoris Energy Services in Houston seeks an Electrical Program Manager (Master Electrician) to own the company’s electrical program, ensuring code compliance, licensing, and scalable practices across projects. The position is based in PES's Houston office, with travel required approximately one week per month or as project needs dictate.
Lead development, training, QA/QC, inspections, and workforce development for electricians, foremen, and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Active Master Electrician license in Texas and ability to acquire licenses in other states.
- 10+ years of progressive electrical construction experience, industrial/utility focus.
- Experience with power generation, substations, high-voltage systems.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local/state codes.
- Leadership, mentoring, and communication across teams; PM software proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Master Electrician and maintain licenses where PES operates.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company electrical program and QA/QC.
- Review drawings/submittals, support troubleshooting, and planning.
- Lead training, apprenticeship paths, and safety programs for electricians.
