Job summary

Prysmian is seeking an experienced Master RI licensed Electrician for 3rd shift operations in Rhode Island. You will assemble, install, test and maintain electrical equipment on continuous manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot PLCs, and ensure regulatory compliance. Proactive safety practices are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Requires RI Journeyman and RI Master electrician licenses, plus 2+ years of industrial electrical experience. Overtime weekends and callouts are expected.

Qualifications

• RI Journeyman license required.
• RI Master electrician license required.
• 2+ years of progressively responsible journey level industrial electrical experience.
• Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background, drug and work screen.
• Regular shift 8 hours; must be available overtime when needed- weekends, & to cover callouts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical equipment on continuous manufacturing lines.
• Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at state/federal levels.
• Perform rigging, safety-related functions and other electrical tasks.
• Demonstrate safe use of shop tools and mechanical knowledge.
• Program VFDs and troubleshoot PLCs.
