CURRENT JOB: Licensed Industrial Electrician

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in an industrial setting. This role requires expertise in electrical systems, strong problem-solving skills, and adherence to safety regulations and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, motors, generators, transformers, and industrial control systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Interpret and follow electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and testing devices such as voltmeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes.

Assist in training and mentoring apprentices or junior electricians as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Rhode Island Electrician License.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum two [2] years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic tools and hand tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, or on-call as required.

Ability to travel as needed for work-related assignments.
